That's adorable :P I really like the repetition of the pointed circular shape in the bird and in the butterfly...I wonder if that shape could/should be brought more into that outer fern? Or maybe into the head shape? I don't know, see how it looks, but the bird's head looks fine now too.
It's super cute maybe you could give the bird a mermaid tail... Also I think it could be more naughty maybe a set of exposed titty tots is needed (in reference to the mermaid of course). Kudos for combining the Quark logo and the meaning of your name!
I love the garland and the butterfly, but there's no real interaction between them, maybe if they were nose to nose (or beak to...butterfly face) it would add a little interaction. Very cute.
I think the ferns need to be more connected to the shapes used for the butterfly and bird - also the three pieces dont seem to come together - they need to some how connect - maybe the ferns dont need to be a perfect circle, there could be a shorter fern in the birds mouth, w/ the butterfly perched on top of a leaf? I think the bird could even somehow overlap with the fern/and just be separated w/ a white stroke if that is not too busy.
I really liked the sketch of the siren holding the bird. Maybe you can even incorporate the butterfly with that? And the ferns in her hair solves the issue of the ferns trapping everything in.

It's good, it's also a little dull. I think it's the laurel wreath. it traps everything in.
