Agreed. You don't really need your initials. I like the needle and thread idea better.
love the top one, wish the needle and thread was made bold and vectored...might make it stronger. here it looks like a weird juxtaposition between something illustrated and vectored...but it's a really good idea! I'd try to make it all one style.
the top is good, but should be simplified.
The crown's nice in the top one, but maybe if you went back and rounded the corners of the stroke, it'd look cleaner.
Top one. What if the thread created the B? Or the D?
